Activity Description

The 6 bed Unit for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery deals with a wide variety of cases in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery including acute injuries, reconstructive surgery, congenital malformations, tumors and complicated oral and dental conditions. The unit is among the leaders in the field of salivary gland. Prof. Nahlieli was the first to perform endoscopy of the salivary glands in Israel and all over the world. He has been teaching and lecturing on salivary endoscopy in many countries in the USA, Europe and the far east. Patients from outside Israel are coming to our hospital to be treated by Prof Nahlieli. 

The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery unit is affiliated to the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
