Activity Description

The 40 bed Obstetrics department is located adjacent to the delivery room. Some of the rooms are private rooms and the rest are shared by two women. The rooms are big enough for rooming-in of the newborn beside his mother. All the rooms are accessorized with private televisions and private bathrooms. Women can choose to have their chidren beside them or to keep them in the nursery. The nursery is located inside the obstetrics department. Women can choose their meals every day, and strictly kosher food (glat koher) is delivered accordingly.

The staff encourages all women for breastfeeding. Every new mother gets instructions on taking care of the newborn and breastfeeding privately.
