Activity Description

The 36 acute bed Geriatrics department is intended to treat the elderly patients over 60 years of age with various acute medical disorders. The department has a multi-disciplinary team who looks after the elderly patient with respect to all his medical, physical, social and functional aspects. This team includes a geriatric physician, nurse, physiotherapist, occuptional therapist and a social worker. The goal of the staff is to return the elderly to his basic functional independence.
