Description
The Cardiology complex offers all types of treatments and diganostic procedures for the hospitalized and the ambulatory patients. Primary coronary interventions are performed, sometimes straight away from the emergency department 24 hours a day. The Electrophysiology unit offers all types of diagnostics for all forms of arrythmias and conduction system defects. Different types of cardiac defibrillators, with or without cardiac synchronization and cardiac pacemakers are transplanted, with or without radio-ablation. The noninvasive cardiology unit offers bi- and 3-dimensional echocardiography, stress echocardigraphy and tranesophageal echpcardiography services.
Many researches are being conducted in the cardiology department including new pacemaker-defibrillators with remote control and new drugs for heart failure.
