Salivary glands endoscopy
The former head of the maxillofacial unit at the Barzilai medical center, Prof Nachlieli Oded. Invented the endoscopic procedure to explore the salivary glands, extract and perform intraductal lithotripsy for sialolithiasis. The staff of the maxillofacial institute continues to perform this procedure regularly. The procedure is done under local anesthesia without any incision and without resection of the gland. The patient is released home after a short time of supervision.
Implants and bone implantation
These types of implants are done under local or general anesthesia. Types of implants may be rehabilitating, implants to reinforce the stability of the dentures, autologous and artificial bone grafts, and others.

Microsurgical repair of the lingual nerve
This is done in cases where the lingual nerve is injured or totally incised. Surgery must done immediately when there is a high suspicion of nerve rupture.
