Monitoring the Hospital's Emergency Preparedness
The Emergency Department of the Ministry of Health conducted an emergency preparedness audit at the hospital on June 21, 2015.
The Barzilai hospital provides health care services to its patients and to the community both during routine and emergency time. Due to our experience of terror and hostility in the region, the Barzilai hospital teams learned how to switch the hospital's operation from routine to emergency within hours.
The audit examined the knowledge, readiness and equipment of the various hospital departments and included the practicing of emergency situations.
We are pleased to inform that the audit was successful and the hospital performed all of the required routines in a very high quality. The summary report indicated the seriousness, commitment and preparedness of all emergency kits at the hospital.
Dr. Levy, CEO & Hospital Medical Director, thanked those who were directly involved in the audit for their hard work and success. He emphasized that practicing and keeping high standards are the key elements for providing high quality medical services during emergency time.
