Outstanding Intern Award

 The ceremony was attended by Dr. Chezy Levi the Medical Director and CEO, Mr. Eitan Cohen the administrative Director, Dr. Lina Linov, the coordinator and supervisor of the all interns, heads of internal medicine departments, heads of the cardiology complex and other directors.
Apart of outstanding interns and their family members all interns undergoing internship rotation at Barzilai Medical Center participated in the ceremony.

The Medical Center Director welcomed the interns and spoke well of the public health system despite the vicissitudes it confronted in the past year, and noted how much the health system cries out for interns and especially at hospitals in the periphery.

The interns expressed their appreciation for the familiar care and attitude they received during the internship and the teaching they received in the various departments.
Each outstanding intern received a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize. It should be noted that number of interns plan to stay at Barzilai Medical Center for residency – and act that is warmly welcomed.
