A shielded server farm was inaugurated at the Barzilai Medical Center

Dr. Chezy Levy, Medical Director of the Center, noted that the establishment of the farm is another important step in the technological advances of the medical center given that the medical information of all types is an important component in the provision of advanced health services.

Dr. Chezy Levy thanked the determination and professionalism of all involved in establishing this farm including the staff of information systems unit who took on the task that was fraught with challenges. The server farm was established with the assistance of the center's management and various professional support companies, and it will help as a backup system to preserve the information in emergencies.

The server farm was built so that it can accommodate more and more extensions. Dr. Levy cut the ribbon and welcomed the affixation of a mezuzah on the doorframe of the farm.
