Training course for volunteer physicians from North America

Under the framework of emergency deployment the Ministry of Health Emergency Department together with Israel Medical Corps and APF Organization initiated training course for physicians from North America. The course took place between 7-12/11/2009 and during that time 30 volunteer physicians were trained to assist the State of Israel at emergency sites.
The goals of the course were to get acquainted with the Israeli health system, learn about the alertness of emergency sites and strengthening the physicians as overseas ambassadors of the Israeli health system.  

Dr. Gary Greenstein displayed a presentation about Barzilai Medical Center and its deployment during emergency time and at the end the physicians toured the medical center.
