Activity

The gynecology department at the Barzilai medical center was renewed lately after the explosion of a rocket during the war in 2023.

The department stands in the first line with other gynecology departments in Israel in the field of endoscopic and minimally invasive techniques for treatment of malignant and non-malignant diseases. The gynecologists are well experienced in these fields. Examples of endoscopic and minimally invasive procedures: total hysterectomy, resection of uterine myomas, sacro-colpo-pexy, and others. These procedures are performed in addition to the regular surgeries of the female genital system.
