The number of the wounded civilians and soldiers who were evacuated to the Barzilai medical center rose to 1414 patients. During the last 24 hours41 patients were admitted to the emergency department, 17of them having minor injuries .

The number of the wounded civilians and soldiers who were evacuated to the Barzilai medical center rose to 1266 patients. During the last 24 hours 56 patients were admitted to the emergency department, 48 of them having minor injuries and 3 for anxiety reactions.

14 injured patients are still resting in the hospital, the state of some of them is critical.

Update - Operation Iron Swords

The number of the wounded civilians and soldiers who were evacuated to the Barzilai medical center rose to 1106 patients. During the last 24 hours twenty six patients were admitted to the emergency department, 22 of them having minor injuries and 4 for anxiety reactions.

Ten injured patients are still resting in the hospital, the state of some of them is critical.

Update - Operation Iron Swords

 

Thirty casualties were treated at the Barzilai medical center during the last 24 hours, most of them with mild injuries. In total, the number of the Israelis, civilians and soldiers, treated at the Barzilai medical center during the Operation Iron Swords stands now on 900. They suffered different levels of injuries but few of them are severely injured and unstable. Ten of the injured are still lying in the different departments of the hospital.

The number of the injured treated at the Barzilai medical center rose up to 856 patients with different degrees of injuries, some with life threatening conditions. During the last 24 hours, 33 injured were treated at the emergency department, most of them were mildly injured. Fifteen injured patients are still lying in the different departments of the hospital.

The number of the injured treated at the Barzilai medical center rose up to 823 patients with different degrees of injuries, some with life threatening conditions. During the last 24 hours, 41 injured were treated at the emergency department, most of them were mildly injured. Twelve injured patients are still in the different departments of the hospital.

A total of 816 injured were absorbed with different degrees of injuries, some of them are critically injured and few have life threatening injuries. 12 injured victims were hospitalized.

During the last 24 hours, 43 injured were admitted to the emergency department, most of them having minor injuries.

From the beginning of the operation, the Barziali medical center absorbed 782 injured with various degrees of injuries . 18 patients are still in the hospital, and the state of many of them is still defined as critical and life threatening.

Update - Operation Iron Swords

 

Prof Hezy Levi, CEO and head of the Barzilai medical center, Ashkelon, said on the fourth day after the terrorists attack that the total number of the injured people who were admitted to the emergency department rose to 541 , 31 injured were admitted to the different medical departments for treatment and most of them are already after multiple life saving procedures and operations and some are still undergoing further surgical procedures.

Most of the departments were transferred to the basement and are fully protected from missile bombing.

 

 

 

As he stated yesterday, a missile fell on the bridge connecting the two buildings causing huge damage to the bridge. The bridge is under reconstruction hoping to be completed in few days.

Prof Levy said that he is proud of all the medical and non medical emplyees who continue to come to work inspite of the rain of missiles and treat the patients with great empathy and sympathy.

Since the beginning of the terrorist attack during the festival and the invasion of the terrorists to many settlements few days ago, the Barzilai Medical Center treated more than 500 injured people, many were severely injured and some suffered life threatening injuries. During the last 24 hours the Barzilai medical center absorbed 100 patients with different types of injuries. The employees of the medical center are working around the clock and the surgical wards and the intensive care unit are full with injured people.

 

Today, 37 patients are still in the hospital in the different departments and 84 patients were transferred to other hospitals in the center after preliminary assessment and injury control procedures.

 

 

The Israeli government declared Operation Iron Swords and began recruitment of the reserve forces.

 

One of the missiles fell yesterday on the bridge that connects the old building with the new building. Fortunately nobody was hurt during this bombing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All the ambulatory services were halted except services for urgencies, pregnancy and child births, dialysis, oncology and hematology patients.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Many family members of the injured arrived to the hospital to see their beloved.
